Sewing - Small Creations

The book work has stalled, but I do feel the energy returning! In the meantime, I've been working on a little flannel blanket for Isabel, from the tutorial by Dana. Very small scale, but that suits me right now!

Speaking of small scale, I'm interested in signing up for Betz White's felted bird house course - I love those sweet little houses!

  1. Elise, I think you'd have a better finish if you sew the opened binding tape on one side, then fold it over and top stitch in on the other side. You'd have more control going around corners. Gorgeous project! A.D.

  2. Thank you for the tip! That's exactly the stuff I need to learn... Wish we lived in the same city and could do sewing projects together. And gardening, and cooking, and all the fun things!
