I had three really simple goals for photography today.
1. Take photos using Michael's SLR camera, instead of the little digital.
2. Use the tripod.
3. Experiment with using a slow shutter speed to capture movement and action.

I really like the saturated colors in this shot.
Here's an example using the tripod and slow shutter speed. I like the action, but now I need to work on keeping rich colors at the same time...

I love the last picture-the adventurerer looking for the next sighting. Good for you working with the camera. I want to get going on that too.
ReplyDeleteThanks ma! I've got some more pictures from the same day that will be part of 'inspiring spaces' on yo-yo reggio tomorrow. It was a lot of fun to take the big camera out. I want to start working with the flash so I can actually take some decent wardrobe refashion shots at night, after Sam has gone to sleep.
